The flow to actually use Google's new model is wild. I just tried to run the Nano model:

1. Get told I need to setup a project and click link to do so
2. Name new project and create it.
3. Manually go back to AI Studio since the flow drops you in the project.
4. Get told new project has no billing. Click link to set up billing.
5. Find out I can't setup billing because of some limit on accounts.
6. Link existing project to an already existing (!) billing account
7. Dumped into billing dashboard. Need to manually go back to AI Studio. Again
8. Still not able to run a query, no key to use (despite being in the console where they know who I am and I'm not trying to automate or script)
9. Click button to link a key
10. No keys found, realize I need to get into my new project
11. No keys in new project. Need to click to create a new key.
12. Setup key and then get dumped into the key manager. Need to manually go back to the AI Studio prompt
13. Still won't let me generate an image. No error.
14. Realize the new key isn't linked to... My AI Studio instance? Not sure.
15. Link new project and key to my test prompt run
16. Enjoy my new generated image (which to be fair was quite nice)

The lack of product focus is just insane and par for the course. Amazing tech tied to a product where it's like nobody thought about the users.
